Make Beliefs Comix is a website and iPad app that helps students create comics and build writing skills. It also offers lots of resources for teachers and parents to support comic creation and writing instruction.

Students ca choose a character from the site's library and insert it into a panel. They can also add dialogue balloons, backgrounds (including color options), and objects. Items can be scaled down, flipped, and moved.

Finished comics can be saved locally, printed, or emailed. Note that since the site is free, it's also supported by ads.

1. Go to make beliefs comix website

2. Press the "create your comix!" button

3. Fill in a name for your comix and the author.

4. Choose the number of panels you want to include.

5. Start crating your comic strip!

Another great tool students can use to design their own comic strips. It offers backgrounds, characters, and props required for visual illustrations. It also comes with a planning sheet that has detailed instructions and tips on how to use the tool.

1. In order to start using it, go to Read, Write Think website.

2. Enter the details (name of the main character, subtitle/s and author/s).

3. Choose the template for your comic strip (1, 2, 3 or 6)

4. Choose now your favourite background.

5. Now add people, speech bubbles and any promps you may need!

6. Enjoy it!
