The Erasmus mobility held in Manresa featured a diverse agenda aimed at fostering cultural exchange and professional development among participants.
On the first day, April 22nd, the event started with an official welcome session followed by presentations from participating schools. A coffee break provided an opportunity for networking before a visit to the different VET workshops in our school. The highlight of the day was a workshop where senior students showcased their hairdressing skills, offering insights into various hairdos. Lunch was provided, followed by a guided city tour incorporating an interactive game.
April 23rd focused on practical learning with a lecture on hair care and hygiene and hair analysis by a Schwatzkopf technician, followed by a practical workshop where participants could practice their professional skills. Participants enjoyed lunch before immersing themselves in the Saint George Fair, a quintessential Catalan festivity.
The itinerary for April 24th included a departure to Barcelona for a guided tour covering Montjuic mountain, Passeig de Gràcia modernist landmarks, Sagrada Família, Arc de Triomf, and Maremagnum. Free time allowed participants to explore the city at their leisure.
April 25th began with a train journey to Barcelona, followed by a study visit at Montibello featuring demonstrations of advanced hair techniques. Participants enjoyed free lunch and an afternoon exploring Barcelona.
The final day, April 26th, commenced with a demonstration of male haircutting techniques by senior students. A break preceded a diploma ceremony and farewell speech, marking the conclusion of the mobility program. The afternoon was left free for participants to reflect on their experiences or explore Manresa further.
