The topic of Health and Well-being will be studied following the students’ curriculum.
· Mathematics: A survey about personal food habits, sport practice and sleep schedule, not only related to health but also in terms of overall well- being. Students from different countries will be asked the same questions in order to establish comparisons between individuals and cultural factors.
· TIC: Poster competition with mottos, healthy tips and wellness.
· Chemistry: Experiments and research to answer questions like What are the main physical and chemical changes in food when you cook it?
· Biology: Study of the sugar content in food and apply it to build the ideal meal for each person.
· Ethics: Team project to define a milestone following the motto “A small change can improve your health!” that can be achieved during the extent of the project. Each students’ group has to think about a realistic goal that would trigger an improvement on their food habits and general well-being. The strategies for its implementation will be developed and planned before the activity itself. Finally, students should perform a personal reflection and discuss the learned lessons within the team in order to evaluate if they have accomplished the initial milestone.
· Physical Education: Analysis of a Olympic swimmer diet and his recommendation about healthy habits.
