Today is the day, we're going to Rome. I arrived at the airport with my family and my girlfriend at almost 10 o'clock. There we met Marc, Gisela, and Gisela's family, we had a delicious breakfast and talked a little bit with everyone. At 11 o'clock we went to trespass all the controls and to say bye to the families. The travel by plane was very quiet. When we arrived in Italy Alessio, Sofia, and their families were waiting for us, I went with Alessio and his family to their house. We ate delicious pasta and I established myself in my room. A few minutes later I went on a walk with Alessio, he showed me the city of Fiumicino and we talked about different things. After the walk we had dinner and we went to sleep.
Today is the first day of school, I got up at 7 o’clock, had breakfast, and got ready to go to school. Today Alessio didn’t have class in the first hour that’s why we got up one hour later. We went by bus, almost half an hour. When we arrived I stayed with Marc talking about different things and a few hours later I went with Alessio to class. I met my very friendly classmates, and we did the remaining classes of the day until nearly 2 o’clock. After classes finished we came back home by car with Lorenzo, Alessio’s big brother. We had lunch and stayed all afternoon at home, resting and doing some homework. At the night we had dinner, I ate a four-cheese pizza, which was delicious. I took a shower and went to sleep.
Today I got up at 6 o'clock because Alessio had all the classes. I had breakfast and got myself ready to go to school, after half an hour on the bus we arrived at Macarese. We did all the classes, meeting the teachers, and in the classes trying to understand everything. At 2 o'clock we came back to Alessio's home and had lunch. After having lunch I went with Alessio and Alessio's mum to ask if I could go to the gym on the days I'm staying here, and how much I had to pay for it. We had some problems because of the dates, but at last, everything was solved and I didn't have to pay anything for it. During the afternoon I revised the Spain work I had to do and rested a little bit. At almost 8 Alessio and I went to have dinner at a Turkish restaurant. When we finished we came back home, I took a shower and I went to sleep.
As in the last day, I got up early, had breakfast, and got ready. In the morning I stayed with Marc for two hours, because he explained to me the chemistry unit that was going to be done in Spain while I wasn't there. I understood all perfectly and goodbye Marc, because he was returning that evening to Spain. Then I came back to class and focused on trying to understand the maximum. One of the classes was Spanish, in which I met Maria Carmen Diez, the Spanish teacher, she was very nice to me and involved me in the class in a very interesting way. They had to analyze a piece of news, in Spanish obviously, but I had to do it in Italian, I found it very funny and interesting. After classes, we went to a shopping center, with Gisela and some of Alessio's friends. We had lunch at Burger King and after that did a very funny activity. It had a lot of things to do in different rooms. We all had a great time there, and when finished we were very tired. We came back home by bus, had dinner, and went to sleep.
For starting the day I did the same as the last days, I tried to follow a few classes and did some homework during the morning. Then we came back home by car, before arriving, Alessio and I went to the gym to have a personal session to organize my training and create my exercise plan. After that we went home and had lunch, I tasted delicious cheese. When finished having lunch I did some work and organized a few things. At about 7 o'clock we had dinner, to have energy for the match we were going to play, got ready and went to the football court, because the match started at a quarter past 9. We lost but in my opinion, we played well, I had a great time playing and meeting some new boys. We came back home, ate a little thing, and went to sleep exhausted.
As with all the other days, I got up at 6 o'clock, I recognize it was a little difficult because I was very tired, but in the end I could, and had breakfast and got ready. Today at classes all was quiet and normal as the other days, getting used to listening to Italian and doing Spain's tasks. We came back home by car, had lunch, and I rested. After a few hours, I went to the gym, for my first training. I enjoyed training, I hadn't any problems and talked just a little bit with other users and the interaction with them was great. I had a shower and came back home. When I arrived we saw the Lazio match and ate a pizza for dinner. After the match ended I went to sleep.
Today we slept more, I got up at half past 8, because we had to take the train at half past 10 to go to Rome. We arrived there at 11 o'clock and met Gisela, his Italian and some friends. The first thing we saw was the Piazza San Pietro, a very beautiful place with a lot of details. We entered the Basilica de San Pietro, the biggest basilica in the world, it was incredible, the size of the walls, the details in the paintings and the sculptures. Then we saw the Castel Sant'Angelo another beautiful place and very imponent, with a very detailed bridge. At almost half past 2 we had lunch in a McDonalds because they couldn't find an Italian food restaurant with a free buffet. After eating we had a walk visiting a lot of things, such as the Piazza Navona, with a spectacular fountain, and the Pantheon, which we could see from inside because there were a lot of queues and we had to pay for it so we decided to not enter in it. Then we saw the Fontana di Trevi, I threw a coin because the tradition says that it gives you good luck. After that, we went to the Piazza Venezia, the views from above were unreal and I liked it very much. To finish the day in style we saw the Colosseo, the day was already dark and the Colosseo was lit and it was a beautiful scene. We took the train and we came back home, we had dinner, I took a shower and went to sleep.
