XISS, Ranchi is a Jesuit-run Minority Educational Institute (estd. 1955) approved by National Commission for Ministry of Educational Institution (NCMEI), Govt. of India and All India Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi.

XISS offers a wide array of top-rated management education programmes. The Two year Post Graduate Management Programmes, namely Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Marketing Management and Financial Management are approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi and Accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. These programmes are accorded equivalence to MBA of Indian Universities by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi. THE WEEK-HANSA research survey 2022 has awarded 3rd rank in Eastern to XISS,Ranchi.
