Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship of XISS, Ranchi envisions the motto of creating entrepreneurs at a local and global level. We look forward towards nurturing social enterprises and creating sustainable business models. We as an entrepreneurship body of XISS Ranchi provide necessary ecosystem where the ideas grow towards creation of sustainable business ventures. The necessary support system includes infrastructural facilities, access to collaborators and like-minded partners, expert trainers, finance leads including funding for pre-seed, seed, and early growth startups, from prototype to scale-up stages, platform for workshops, idea evaluation and impact assessment and other important provisions for startups to innovate and grow. We promote and continue to provide entrepreneurship opportunities, training programs through our EDP cell. In the days to come, we aim to become one of the best incubation centres at the local and global stage with promoting entrepreneurship among the tribal youths and other local entrepreneurs in the state of Jharkhand and other regions.

• Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) is one of the oldest management institutions in Jharkhand grounded in the development of communities through cutting-edge management education.

• XISS has been creating ‘professionals with a difference’ in the field of rural management, personnel management, marketing, and finance for several years, however, the promotion of entrepreneurship is limited compared to institutions such as IIMs, XLRI, & IITs and it is important to initiate into this growing economy.

• Given that the country’s eco-system is highly conducive to entrepreneurship development, it is high time that a business incubation centre is established in XISS that initially develops entrepreneurial spirit among students and professionals, offers courses and training, raises funds from CSR, Foreign donors, investors through collaboration and outreach.
