Does Panda Paradise Camp Provide Food?
Hot Lunch, nuts-free, and gluten-free snacks are provided for all campers. Alternatively, you can pack a nut-free, non-perishable lunch for the camper. Please bring a water bottle every camp day!
When Can the Camper Be Dropped Off and Picked Up?
The camp class schedule is from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and extended care opportunities are also available. An overtime fee will be charged for the late pickup after 5:30 pm.
All campers must be signed out when parents/guardians pick them up. This procedure ensures the safety of our campers.
Who Can Attend Camp?
Camp is open to all kids who are entering kindergarten through Sixth grade in fall 2024. We welcome everyone regardless of race, religion, gender, orientation, country of origin, or color of skin. We are all here to have a good time!
Who Are the Staff?
Our seasonal staff is comprised of experienced Chinese teachers from Xilin Northwest Chinese School. We work hard to keep our ratios around 1:8 during the day and even lower during specialized activities.
What If I Change My Mind? (Refund Policy)
No worries. If cancellation is necessary, a cancellation and refund request must be made in writing to the Xilin Northwest Chinese School Summer Camp Program at summercamp@xilinnorthwest.org. A refund will be granted on the following basis once notification is received:
The $25 registration fee is not refundable if a cancellation is requested by you.
A full refund of the remaining fees you paid if you request a cancellation before 5 PM CT on June 24, 2024 (two weeks before July 8, 2024).
A refund of 90% of the remaining fees you paid if you request a cancellation before 5 PM CT on July 1, 2024 (one week before July 8, 2024) but after July 8, 2024.
A refund of 80% of the remaining fees you paid if you request a cancellation before 5 PM CT on July 5, 2025.
No refund if you request a cancellation after 5 PM CT on July 5, 2024.
No refund for the Day Pass.
There will be no refund or prorating for days that are missed throughout a session. Refunds are not given to campers dismissed for disciplinary issues. It is the responsibility of the parent to inform the camp in writing of their child’s withdrawal from the program. Therefore, if the camp is not informed of the termination the parent is still responsible for payment.
For any reason, if the camp is canceled by the Xilin Northwest Chinses School Summer Camp Program, a full refund will be provided for both the registration fee and the remaining payment.
What is the Daily Schedule Like?
Daily activities are led by experienced staff. These may include Chinese, STEM, Team Games Sports, etc. Our detailed schedule will be published and informed to parents before camp starts.
