It was a festive occasion on the 21st of March as St. Xavier’s College was presented with the ‘Best Education Brand 2024 Award’ by ET Edge along with Times Research. The gala ceremony, held at the Sahara Star Hotel, marked a proud moment for the whole cohort of Xavierites. Once again, a tradition has been reinstated: a tradition of excellence, and commitment to all-round development.
The programme began with a keynote address by Professor Ravindra Kulkarni, Vice Chancellor of the University of Mumbai, which dealt with ‘Digital Revolution in Education’, and its impacts on, and integration into, policy-making. After a host of panel discussions on the future of the education system, the ‘ET Now Best Education Brands 2024’ Coffee Table book was released. Following this, the felicitation programme began, and St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, received the ‘Best Education Brand 2024 Award’. The trophy was presented to Dr. Rajendra Shinde and Dr. Karuna Gokarn by Professor Santishree Pandit, Vice Chancellor of JNU, and Dr. V Venkata Ramana, Vice Chairman, Telangana State Council of Higher Education, and Vice Chancellor, RGUKT, Telangana.
The event marks another prestigious record for the College as it ensures its recognition on a global level as well. It simultaneously continues the streak of illustriousness that has, for long, been St. Xavier’s hallmark.
