Admissions will be decided upon by the admission committee, after reviewing all submitted material, and after interviewing those candidates called for interviews
Admission to Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business and to SXC will be pursued concurrently, with the expectation students admitted to Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business will be admitted to SXC and students admitted to SXC will be offered admission to Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business, pending successful completion of SXC courses. Following the submission of application materials, the admissions process will involve two phases:
SXC filters applicants according to criteria for admission to SXC and Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business and provides Santa Clara with standardized transcripts and other required documents.
Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business reviews application materials, reserving the right to interview applicants.
Applicants will be admitted conditionally to Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business, pending successful completion of SXC coursework.
Successful completion is indicated by a grade equivalent to a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in each course.
Admission will be granted after considering various criteria, including academic scores.
Students will be required to obtain an F-1 Visa issued by the United States Immigration Department prior to arrival in the United States.
The provisions of the conditional admission will be clearly communicated to applicants going to Santa Clara University Leavey School Of Business
The Joint MS programs offered by SXC Mumbai and Santa Clara Leavey School of Business are subject to the following Terms and Conditions.

7.In the event that a minimum cohort sxaviers@xglpize of ten eligible candidates is not possible, then the program may be deferred or discontinued by St. Xavier's College Mumbai.
Students are expected to complete additional units listed above over three or four consecutive terms (e.g., spring (March-June), fall (September-December), winter (January-March), spring (March-June), taking a minimum of eight units per term to meet Visa requirements and complete the Program. In the summer term students may choose to pursue an internship, which may require U.S. federal government immigration approval for Curricular Practical Training (CPT) through Global Engagement prior to the start of the internship.
Current U.S. immigration laws stipulate that international students sponsored by Santa Clara University may apply to work in on-campus employment opportunities, but are not eligible to work off campus without authorization. The Santa Clara University incentives serve as no guarantee of obtaining a visa.
Current U.S. immigration rules allow F-1 students to pursue post-graduation employment (Optional Practical Training OPT). For students eligible for post-graduation work in the United States under their Visa, students must adhere to Santa Clara University's OPT process and deadlines. LSB does not guarantee post-graduation placement. Students must apply, interview, and meet hiring criteria and immigration requirements and deadlines. Santa Clara University provides a mandatory International Student Welcome (ISW) orientation program offered by Global Engagement. In addition, students in the Program may participate in orientation offered by Santa Clara University.
1. An SXC application.
2. A Leavey School of Business application.
3. Copies of all prior college/university transcripts except those from Leavey School of Business.
o Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for application. Official transcripts are required for enrollment.
4. An essay outlining relevant work experience or education, career goals, possible areas of interest, and reasons for seeking admission to this Program.
5. Three letters of reference from professors or professionals familiar with the applicant’s abilities, academic work, and professional background.
6. International applicants may demonstrate English-Proficiency as required for immigration sponsorship as follows:
· Earned a degree in Australia, Anglophone Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, or the United States within the last 4 years where the sole instruction was English, OR
· Proficiency exams:
o TOEFL iBT: 100
o IELTS: 7
o Duolingo: 120

Students who successfully complete the specified SXC Courses and the 30 or 36 credits of LSB courses required to complete the Program according to departmental and university policies will be awarded a Master of Science in Business Analytics or Master of Science in Finance and Analytics by LSB, respectively.
LSB policy allows students a maximum of 5 years to complete master’s degrees. Failure to maintain full time status, failure to make satisfactory academic progress, and failure to comply with established policies and procedures may delay a student’s progress or make it impossible for them to graduate.
LSB will waive the application fee for prospective students.
We prefer letters of recommendations from your professional network, that is, supervisors and colleagues; however, we also accept letters of recommendations from those you have worked with in academic and volunteering settings, particularly for those who will or have recently completed an undergraduate degree prior to the start of the program.
