Department Magazine: Samvad

The research papers and articles written by undergraduate students from across the streams are published in Samvad.

Xavier’s Political Science Association

All other activities of the department are organised by XPSA, an elected body of Political Science students from Undergraduate classes.

  • Talk by Anuj Dhar of his book India’s Biggest Cover Up in association with Ministry of External Affairs, an interactive session with Ms. Petal Gahlot, an alumnus of our dept, an IFS, on ‘Avenues of Diplomacy and Foreign Policy’.

  • Talk by Jon Wilson from King’s College, U.K. on his book India Conquered

  • Lecture by Mr. Alejandro Zothner Meyer, the Acting Consul General of Argentina, on The issues of the Malvinas Islands or the Falkland Islands

  • Story-Reading Session by Dr. Asha Naitthani-Dayama from her new book – Sach Toh Yahi Hai. Containing stories about the victims of Article 35 - A from different sections of society in Jammu Kashmir.
