The M.Sc. course in Botany is designed to provide an enriching experience in plant sciences by covering a wide range of topics. The department offers MSc by papers and MSc by research. The total number of seats allotted for MSc by papers in Botany is twenty. The students are admitted to MSc on the basis of their BSc botany scores. The date, procedure and form for admission is put up on the college website during the month of June every year. The students have to fill up the college admission form given on the college website as well as register themselves on University of Mumbai digital university portal. All the information is provided on the college website which helps the student to smoothly carry out the admission process. After admissions are done, the students belonging to Mumbai university need to submit a transfer certificate and those taking admission from other universities are asked to submit migration certificate to finally complete their admission procedure. During the first year of MSc the students learn core Botany courses. During second year the students undertake special courses besides a few core courses. The MSc students also carry out a project during their last two semesters.
