Equipment
Finch Robots (15)
We have 15 codable robots to use. These robots can work with Block coding on an iPad app or with JavaScrip programming on a Chromebook. They have the ability to draw by adding a pen in the center of the robot.
We also have two grids with clocks and number lines that you could use for a variety of math type problems with the robot.
We have created some squares that you can put anything on for students to work on a subject along with coding (parts of speech, number recognition, counting money, etc.)
Check out all of the lesson ideas on the Birdbrain Technologies Website
Code & Go Robot Mouse (12)
We have 12 of these self contained codable mice. With these robots, you do not need a Chromebook or iPad. Students will code the mouse with the arrows on top and then click Go.
We have created about 8 boards to go with the codable mice. Students could practice anything you are working on in class - we have a money game and counting game already created but the ideas for how to use them are endless.
Ozobot evo (12)
We have 12 of these cute little codable robots. You can use a color code to draw a path for the Ozobot or you can use an app and use block code to make them move.
You can use the Ozobot to make a story come to life. Draw out the details of your story and program the Ozobot to travel to the locations in your story.
Check out the many lesson ideas from the education section of the Ozobot Website
Lavalier Microphones (LOTS)
We have many lavalier microphones that you can use if you are working on a video project, podcast project, want to record student reading to monitor progress, etc.
These microphones easily plug into the earphone jack of the Chromebook or laptop. They help to drown a little bit of the background noise and pick up what you want to hear - the student who is talking into it.
