Mrs. Elko

Hello.  My name is Mrs. Tricia Elko and I am excited to be a part of the Learning Services team with Mrs. Kara Jacobson at the McDonald Street Campus.    

I graduated from UW Stevens Point with a degree in Education grades 1-6 and a minor in Math education grades 1-6.  I have held many different positions within the Xavier Education System, from a 1st and 2nd-grade teacher for 4 years, a substitute teacher when my children were in school in the Xavier system, an instructional aide for 5 years at the Marquette Campus, and one of the two Learning Services Teachers at our campus for the past 6 years.  Each year I have broadened my educational knowledge in both Reading and Math.

My family lives on the outskirts of New London area where we also run Wind River Wildlife Rehabilitation out of our home. This is my second passion in life and my family helps in this adventure.   My children, Lydia and Nando, are currently at UW Eau Claire and Xavier High School.  They have gone through our Xavier system throughout their education.  I feel truly blessed for the education that they have received.
