Hi there! Welcome to the 2023-24 school year!

My name is Mrs. Nikki Teigen, and I'm one of the 3rd grade teachers at Xavier Elementary Marquette Campus! 

This is my 12th year of teaching. I graduated from St. Norbert College in 2012 with an Elementary Education degree and a certificate in Math Education. I taught for 3 years at St. Joseph School in Green Bay, 2nd and 3rd grade. And I started at Xavier in 2015!

I have been married to Jeff, my high school sweetheart, for 9 years. We are both from originally from Appleton, and both went to Appleton North.  We have a 5 year old daughter, Hayden, and a 2 year old, Ezra! We also have a dog (corgi) named Waffles.  

I actually attended St. Thomas More and St. Joe's for elementary and middle school! I am thrilled to be teaching in the school system I grew up in! Besides teaching, I also love singing (I am a cantor at St. Thomas More Parish and sing for our school masses here), reading, golfing, working out, spending time with friends and family, and cuddling my kiddos! In addition to teaching, I am also a Virtual Health and Wellness Coach through Beachbody!

We are going to have so much fun in 3rd grade this year! The theme for our classroom is Hollywood Stars, so the students will be "Stars in Training"! If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to email me! I am available usually a half hour before the school day begins and up to an hour after it ends.
