Mrs. Jedwabny

Hi! I'm Mrs. Nicole Jedwabny and I'm one of the Kindergarten teachers here at the Marquette Street Campus.  Most of my students and parents call me "Mrs. J."

This is currently my 19th year teaching.  I graduated from UW Oshkosh and have taught every grade from Kindergarten to 5th grade with the exception of 1st grade.  I started my teaching career at St. Mary's in Greenville for two years before coming to our St. Francis Xavier Catholic School System. 

We teach Growth Mindset in Kindergarten:  We talk about the difference between a fixed and growth mindset, and do different activities to demonstrate that. We really try to instill a love of learning in the students, and part of learning is making mistakes. In fact those are sometimes the BEST learning opportunities!
