Mrs. Upchurch

Hello! 

My name is Margaret (Meg) Upchurch. 

I graduated from Marquette University with a double major in middle/elementary education and communication studies.

I attended Xavier from elementary school through high school. I loved my experience so much that I needed to come back and teach here! I also met my now husband, Nathan, in 2nd grade, who also attended Xavier through high school. We are so happy to be back in the area after living in New York City and Santa Monica, California.

When I am not teaching, you can find me spending time with family/friends, traveling, golfing, and being outdoors.

Teaching brings me so much joy, especially meeting students where they are at, and forming individualized relationships.

I am so excited to spend time learning and growing with all of you!
