Mr. Frommelt

Hello Students and Parents!

I am Mr. Luke Frommelt and it is my pleasure to be teaching social studies at St. Francis Xavier High School. I am also the assistant Cross-Country coach and I coach distance for the Track & Field team. I grew up in Dubuque, Iowa and have spent my time since high school living in Wisconsin. I graduated from St. Norbert College and received my Master's Degree in History from Marquette University. My interests include running, reading, fishing, being outdoors, visiting family and friends and cheering on the St Norbert Green Knights, Marquette Golden Eagles, Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Bucks and the thirteen-time world champion Green Bay Packers.

My goals in teaching social studies include helping my students to gain an appreciation for the events of the past and the people who lived it. I want to put my students in their shoes. I also want my students to appreciate other cultures, improve their research and writing skills, know more about our own country and how the events of the past have affected the future.
