Hello!!

My name is Jessica Vande Hey. I am a Xavier High School graduate and attended both the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse and Oshkosh.  I have my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Sociology.  After college, I taught elementary education in both Australia and New York. After living in NYC for 6 years, I found my way back to WI and my home town roots of North Appleton.  I am a full time mom to my beautiful daughter who is a 5th grader at Xavier. She and I enjoy exploring together, traveling and exploring the great outdoors.

I feel so incredibly blessed that God has guided me back to the Xavier community and that I am your child's first grade teacher!  First grade is such a fun year with so many wonderful ways to learn and grow as individuals, as well as together as a class.  I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our family of learners.
