Hello and welcome! I'm thrilled to have you in my class this year. As we embark on the 2023-2024 school year, I'm celebrating my 10th year as a teacher, with 8 of those wonderful years spent at Xavier. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood/Early Adolescence with a minor in Social Studies from UW-Eau Claire. I also earned my Master's of Education from UW-Stout, and I'm a licensed Reading Specialist. Quite the journey through education!

My roots are in Appleton, where my husband and I met in high school. We've been happily married for 9 years and have three amazing boys: Eli, in 2nd grade, Liam in kindergarten, and Myles in 3K. Completing our lively household is our dog, Marley. We cherish our time outdoors and love being at the lake. Life with three little boys can be a whirlwind, but we truly value our family moments.

This year's social studies focus will transport us to the Medieval World. We'll explore the 3 Kingdoms of West Africa, the captivating Arabian Peninsula, the fascinating Eastern Asia (China & Japan), and the enchanting European history.
