Here are some helpful hints for a successful year:

-Let others see Jesus in you, through all that you do

-Do your best in all you do

-Don't ever be afraid to ask for help

-Complete your homework on time

-Come to school with a positive attitude, ready to learn

-READ outside of school everyday and practice your math facts regularly

-Read, read, read, and read some more

-Never stop believing in yourself

-Have fun and make the most of your 4th grade year

Reading is really important! Your child should read at home at least 20 minutes every night.

• Research shows us that students who read frequently are not only stronger readers, but they have stronger math skills, too.

• Reading twenty minutes a day exposes students to roughly 1.8 million vocabulary words a year. (readdbq.org)

• According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, reading regularly positively affects the brain’s cognitive abilities.
