New & improved: Beginning in the fall of 2022, Luther students are able to major in law and values and minor in counseling. Other newer programs include our Global Health major and Identity Studies major and minor. These interdisciplinary academic programs demonstrate the college's commitment to preparing students to meet the demands of today’s complex society.

Luther has also recently completed a $1.2 million major renovation of the Sports and Recreation Center (SRC) in 2022.

Improvements have also been made to Luther's Nursing Simulation Center (completed Summer 2022) to create additional real-life practice settings that will more closely simulate a hospital environment. This is achieved through patient simulators, simulation equipment, and software and audiovisual technology.

In 2020, Luther was named eighth most sustainable Baccalaureate Institution in the United States by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
