Plan Your Visit
register
Students must register at StriveScan this year! Sign up here. If a parent is attending, they should also register for the event.
Why register before the event?
You will be required to show your student or parent barcode in order to be admitted to the Fair.
College reps will be able to scan your barcode rather than having you complete a prospect card at every college table. This gives you more time for in-depth conversations with admissions counselors!
You'll receive a reminder 2 hours before the Fair, so you can't forget to attend.
After the Fair, you will be emailed contact information for all of the reps you visited with so you can follow up if you have questions.
Plan ahead
Use the information on this site to plan which school representatives you would like to talk to at the Fair.
Use the SEARCH icon (upper right corner) to search by majors you are interested in, locations, school name, or keyword.
Make a list of schools that interest you.
Use the links to their websites to research more about each school.
Make a final list of who you want to be sure to talk to at the Fair.
Write down questions you want to ask.
Think about what you want to share about yourself. What makes you stand out? What are you passionate about? Why are you interested in their school?
Remember, these are the people who will be reviewing your applications to their schools. It's a great chance to make a wonderful first impression!
Map Your Visit
While we encourage you to wander through the Fair and visit with schools you may not have on your radar, you may want to use this map to make a plan for those you don't want to miss.
