About Sra. Polit:
¡Hola! This is my 13th year teaching Spanish, and this is my 4th year teaching at Xavier Middle School. I have taught every level, from Kindergarten through Advanced Placement. I have nine years of teaching experience at the middle school level and I am excited to be using my talents to serve students here at Xavier Middle School.
When I was younger I took French and Spanish language classes during the summer and then, years later, in high school I spent a year living abroad in Spain. I am a graduate of Lakeland University and have a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Education. During my undergraduate studies, I spent more time visiting and studying in Spain.
In addition to my travel through Spain and other parts of Europe and the United Kingdom, I also traveled to Mexico to see the Mayan ruins of Chichén Itzá. It is my hope to continue to travel to experience the vastly diverse world in which we live, and share those experiences with my family and students.
