License Renewals

If you have let your license expire for 24 months or longer, you are not eligible to reinstate your license but you may apply for a new license by complying with requirements and procedures for licensure in effect at the time of re-application.

Online Renewal is available the 3rd Monday of October through the 3rd Monday of May annually.

If your license fees have not been paid for the current year, please contact our office for the reinstatement fees due.

IF YOUR LICENSE IS ACTIVE through December 31 of the current year, you may renew and submit payment online during the online period or complete renewal by postal mail postmarked on or before December 31st annually.

IF YOUR LICENSE IS EXPIRED, please call the office for the reinstatement procedure and related fees to become reinstated.

ALL renewal payments received by mail after December 15 annually, will be processed the first full week of the new year.

Exam Information

The Wyoming Board of Professional Geologists uses the Fundamentals of Geology and the Practice of Geology examinations provided by the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG®).
