Our shops operate like traditional production facilities. We conduct interviews and hire inmates who undergo job training and receive performance reviews every 90 days. They have opportunities for increased responsibilities and pay advancement, progressing from entry-level positions to technician, independent, journeyman, and line lead roles. Workers also gain an understanding of the business aspects of manufacturing. They learn how to prioritize work orders to meet deadlines, track inventory and the use of raw materials, manage finished product inventory, and control costs associated with the production process. Additionally, workers are educated on quality control, which is essential to maintaining product quality throughout the construction process. By supporting our shops, you receive top-quality products and contribute to the rehabilitation and skill development of the inmates.
