NEW - Wyoming has instituted regulations and application process for Private Fire Prevention and Qualified Insurance Approved Resources. Regulations & Application
FIRE UPDATE:
Telephone Fire - Seedskadee National Wildlife Refuge, 16 ac. all D.O.I. lands. Cause is human. No update on containment as of 9:30 this morning.
Raven Creek Fire - Weston County, 3,789 ac. This fire has burned in both Weston and Campbell Counties.
Overlook Fire - Albany County, 0.1 ac. Fire was south of I-80 in the Buford area and prepositioned resources from the Medicine Bow/Routt NF responded. There are no concerns with this fire.
Meadow Draw Fire - Sheridan County, 51 ac., all D.O.I (BLM) lands. Cause was determined to be lightning.
Coyote Canyon Fire - Weston County, 1.25 ac.
Sand Creek Fire - Weston County, 60 ac. No cause is determined as of this morning. Wyoming Smokebusters from the Forestry Conservation Camp in Newcastle have been ordered.
