Cybersecurity threats are heavily targeting K-12 schools, which are often considered "target rich, cyber poor" due to the extensive personal data they hold combined with limited resources for proper protection. To combat this risk of frequent incidents, CISA is focusing on the education sector by providing tools and resources to raise awareness, improve cyber defenses, and reduce the likelihood of successful attacks.
