Yes, ALL employees are required to wear ID badges. Any time caregivers are caring for participants in their homes, their badges must be worn and visible. This is to ensure that the caregiver and participant are safe and following all applicable laws while working. If a state-mandated visit occurs, they will be able to identify each caregiver and the agency that they work with.
Participants (or Their power of Attorneys) must call our office to switch their caregiver(s). Our case manager will confirm participant with qualifications, and another caregiver.
On-Call Caregivers serve as our first line of defense when we are unable to provide care for a participant on a given day. Notifications are sent out to these specific people on a first come, first served basis. Once the participant confirms the visit, the caregiver will fill in that shift.
