This week you will complete the video of the poem you recorded in front of the Green Screen.  You used a software called iMovie and learned all about the editing tools including how to add text, music, change the background using the Green Screen effects and much more.

As you complete your iMovie you will export it and share it with me.  I will show you how to do that.  When both classes have completed the project, we will have a special day of sharing your work.  You are doing a great job!

When done, please go to... https://www.typingtest.com/ and take the 1 minute test after changing medium text to easy text.  When you feel that you have done the best you can, please show one of your teachers your score.  You are NOT COMPETING, just doing the best job you can.  After, you may go to the Typing Games found on this website.

Today we will begin our Poetry Project using the Green Screen.  Students will first be introduced to the parts they will be playing on each team of 3 students.  The first student will be the "Director" and video tape the segment.  Student 2 will hold the cue card/teleprompter (vocabulary to be discussed), while Student 3 will stand in front of the Green Screen and recite their poem.  Students will each have an opportunity to "play" each role.  When you are done, you will go back to the class and the next three students will come down to the STEAM Lab.  Once all students have recorded their poems (you will then sign into a Shared Drive folder) and we will begin the editing process over the next couple of weeks.  This is a great project that I believe you are really going to like creating!
