Hi, my name is Rose Shuryan and I am very excited to teach the Wyandotte Transition Program this year! I have worked for Wyandotte Public Schools since 2008, starting as a paraprofessional and working my way through school to become a teacher. I have experience working at The Lincoln Center in the ASD program, at Jo Brighton, and at Madison teaching in a classroom for students with Cognitive Impairments. I have my Master’s degree in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University. I have experience with Green School Club, planning Community-Based Instruction, and coaching Special Olympics. I have two sons of my own, one graduated in the spring from U of M, and the other is in high school here in Wyandotte. I am very passionate about working with our students’ individual needs to make this the best possible experience!
