Curtis Taylor - Math & Social Studies Teacher

This will be my 11th year teaching 5th/6th grade in the HUUSD. Prior to working at CBMS, I worked in classrooms in Barre, Burlington, Jackson, WY, and in an outdoor science classroom in Big Bear Lake, California. I have worked with students from 1st grade through 12th.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife (Ashley), my son (Julian - 8), my daughter (Louisa - 6), my dog (Tacho), and I love to be outdoors. I can often be found hiking, biking, or skiing on local trails.

Melissa Williams - Literacy and Science Teacher

I have been teaching at CBMS since it opened, so a while now. I've taught math, social studies, science, and literacy, but now I just teach literacy and science.

When I'm not working on school things, I am usually puttering around in the garden, reading, experimenting with new plants, cooking, or heading out to the woods. One of my daughters in is college, and the other is working at Songadeewen Camps. When they are home they rope me into the Marvel Universe, or learning new musicals. My husband (Chris) and I enjoy canoeing, and my dog (Apollo) is always with us (although he prefers to hike). I also have 2 cats.
