Now, coming up with this project is such and hard decision because I would have to do a capstone relating to the topic and it has to involve the community. This could cause a lot of ups and down but, I've decided to do sdg 3 which is good health and well being. I chose this sdg because freshman year transitioning into sophomore year i realize that i would have to maintain a good and healthy life in order to feel good about myself and not rely on things, With this project I hope to encourage kids to get up and maintain a healthy life like I did such as be active, eating healthy, and ive noticed that a lot of kids in this generation are addicts to things like vapes and weed with this project im also hoping to change their mindset on things like that
With this project, I was stuck with confusion because i didn't know exactly how to carry this capstone project. I didn't know what to do to make this project efficient. So i had a meeting with Ms.D . During this meeting she opened up an variety of ideas that I could do to carry out my sdg. With this meeting I started to explore more with different ideas i should do for this capstone project
With the help of my advisor I realized what I really want to do for this senior capstone, that is not out of my budget.
Despite the struggle on finding the right thing to do I came up with a clothing brand that promotes mental health and represents a factor within Black History Month.
I chose to make a clothing brand for this project because instead of hearing a motivation why dont you wear it. It also embodies an important in black history month as well.
As you can seem from the picture. its the back of the hoodie. " dont trip" meaning dont let no limitation hold you down from doing what you wanna do. This connects to " black history" because in the past there were many limitations set in order to hold the people of color back.
The project was an success, I feel like everything went well overall with this project.
However one of the challenging I encountered was not knowing that the campus was card only. And since this movement was a last minute decision I didn't have time to prepare. Even though, that experience really showed me more about selling and promoting.
This project gave my brand a bigger audience and showed me more about promoting.
