College Visits at WHS
Westfield HS typically has about 70 colleges who will visit the high school each fall. Students can use these visits to learn more about various colleges, including their academic programs, admission process, and scholarships.
This video will show students how to view the schedule of upcoming college visits and how to register for them in Naviance.
Counselor Letter of Recommendation Request Form
Students needing a Letter of Recommendation from their counselor must complete this form and return it to their counselor one month prior to their College Application Deadline. A resume and the Letter of Rec Worksheet must also be completed. Both of these can be found in the student's Naviance account.
Absence Request Form for College Visits
Students are allowed two excused college visit days each year. Please complete the form, including all teacher signatures, and return to the Attendance Office at least five days prior to visit.
Requesting and Sending Your HS & College Transcripts and AP Scores to College
Typically in the spring, once a student has decided what college they will be attending, they will request a final HS transcript to be send upon graduation from Westfield HS. Likewise, the student will also need to send any AP scores or college transcripts from dual enrollment classes. See these instructions for details.
