The Cardinals Marching Band & Color Guard perform at halftime at all of the Varsity Football Games and has represented the school at events such as the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. (May 2016). The band is open to students in Grades 9-12 and rehearsals start in August.

The pit orchestra performs during the high school musical, supporting the Woodington Players. From January through March they rehearse twice a week and this increases once showtime nears. No audition is necessary. Announcements about how to join "the pit" will be posted in December in the Band Room.

About Tri-M: The Tri-M Music Honor Society is the international music honor society for middle/junior high and high school students. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements, reward them for their accomplishments and service activities, and to inspire other students to excel at music and leadership. Applications are due each April and an induction ceremony is held in May. Students in Tri-M are required to perform extensively in the community and to help at events in the school, acting as ushers, ticket-takers, etc.

Advisor: Mr. Joseph Fritz

The Woodwind Ensemble is comprised of a variety of woodwind instruments such as clarinets, flutes and saxophones and is open to students in grades 9-12. The ensemble meets once weekly after school for rehearsals and participates in performances such as the Riverside Square Mall holiday concert and the annual Ensemble Night. No audition required.
