Color Pencil Visual Journal
A lot of art and artist have inspired my pieces and ability over the years. Most importantly my Aunt Cat has guided me to become the artist I am today. She is an art teacher who has taught all grades. Therefore she was always willing to teach me and inspire me. It became a common interest we could talk about and activity we could do. Over the years she has helped me projects and always there for me. She has inspired me to continue this passion, because she is one the gave me this ability. Now when doing art I know a part of her is always in me because I have learned so much from her to get me where I am today.
Through my artwork, I want to challenge myself on how realistic I can make something look from a piece of paper. I really enjoy drawing and find it to be my best ability in art. Grasping the idea on how I view the world and can use colors, shading, and certain techniques to achieve this. Each year I am learning how to improve the realistic look and will keep working towards it.
Currently in art we are focusing on a lot of drawing. And how we can use shading to make it more realistic. I have been open to more supplies such as high quality color pencils and different forms of charcoal. Learning the techniques and I have been really trying to improve on that, with being open to different options. To expand my pallet on talent. Helping me for the future on how to apply these in to different pieces and style of art. This image here represents on how I have been experimenting with these items. Learning the definition of value in art and how to express it properly and better eventually.
