I am so excited to be starting my 21st year here at Berkeley Elementary School teaching English as a Second Language. I am confident we will have a great year as things continue to get back to normal. Prior to teaching at Berkeley School and Washington School, I began my career teaching first grade and ESL in Washington and Jefferson Schools in Union City, New Jersey. I obtained my bachelor degree in Elementary Education at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and my ESL certification at New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey. I live in Montvale, New Jersey and have two children ages 22 and 24. My son just began his career as an US Wealth Advisor Analyst for BlackRock and my daughter will be graduating the University of South Florida in December with a Masters degree in Psychology. She will then begin her career as a family and marriage counselor. In my spare time, I enjoying traveling and learning about different cultures, reading and volunteering in my local community.

I love teaching and helping all students to learn to reach their full potential. As an ESL teacher, my goal is to teach students to learn to listen, speak, read and write in English as well as to be comfortable within their new cultural environment. Welcome to our ESL family!
