This is my Eighth year teaching Health and Physical Education at Westwood HS and 20th overall. GENESIS INFORMATION
GENESIS INFORMATION
On Genesis, students will receive grades under the headlines "Performance" for Performance.
Written Assignments/Tests will be under the headline of the assignment's title.
Students will be graded each day on their Participation and Sportsmanship (Performance), and grades will be entered weekly.
Students can earn a maximum of 10 points for Performance on a weekly basis.
Students that break the Grading Policy in the PE contract may have their weekly performance grade lowered.
Each written assignment will be given a specific value determined by the teacher.
Other Genesis Information
One additional headline will be titled "Medical." Students will be given an exempt grade until they are required to complete a medically excused assignment.
A second additional headline will be titled "Unprepared." Students will begin with a 0, and negative points will be tallied when students are unprepared for class or if they exhibit unacceptable behavior.
