Meet the teacher

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am thrilled to introduce myself as your child’s 4th-grade teacher here at Berkeley Elementary. My name is Mr. Sottolano, and I am excited to embark on this new school year with you and your child. It will be great to see some familiar faces!  

Since earning my master’s degree in 2022, I have had the pleasure of teaching a variety of grades and subjects. Each experience has deepened my passion for education, and I am delighted to begin my second year here at Berkeley Elementary. I look forward to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where each student can thrive.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending quality time with my wonderful wife, Becky, our son, Bailey, and our energetic dog, Cooper. Family time is very important to me, and I believe it’s a key part of maintaining a balanced and fulfilling life.
