I value the profession of education and look forward to making a strong impact on my students’ lives. As a teacher, I am responsible for providing children with the right tools and knowledge to prepare them for today and the future. My goal is to enrich the growth of pupils academically and socially. I will provide them with a quality education so that these young children can be successful, both in and outside of the classroom.
My first goal is to establish a respectful and honest atmosphere for my students. My students will be able to speak and express their concerns and questions with comfort and confidence. The classroom will be a caring and warm environment for all who enter. Providing this care and concern will open the doors for communication and trust.
Social skills are a major aspect that children need to develop for success. I believe that children learn by interacting with peers and being actively engaged. My lessons will be supported with model behaviors that will demonstrate that I value each child. I will provide various instructional strategies to support their interaction. My class will consist of discussions, lectures, group work, and hands-on activities. I will develop positive peer relationships, teamwork, and communication skills.
My students will be comfortable and motivated to learn. I will instruct the curriculum in a way that is exciting and entertaining that will allow my students the opportunity for choice. I will provide them with positive reinforcement and specific praise. My students will develop confidence and high self-esteem. This will be supported with model behaviors that will demonstrate that I value each child.
I will show the passion and inspiration I have for the love of education. I will be a powerful role model to our younger generation. They are the future of our country. I will be committed as an educator to instruct and mentor my students. With my classroom structure, I will provide them the social skills and academics they will need to be successful and outstanding well-rounded individuals.
