Welcome! My name is Miss. Severini and I am elated to be your teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. This is my first year teaching, and I am honored to join the wonderful staff at Jessie F. George. This past Spring I graduated from Ramapo College of New Jersey earning my certification in Elementary Education, and are currently working towards my Masters degree in Special Education. I firmly believe that every child is capable of learning and individuality is crucial to success in the classroom. This has always been my teaching philosophy as someone with a life long love of learning, and my goal is to bring this to my future students. On this site, I will be providing all essential information needed to have a smooth and fruitful school year for you and your child. I cannot wait to have an amazing year!

 I would love to share a little bit about me! I have a wonderful family: my parents, a younger sister, and my dog Stu. When I am not at school, I love seeing my friends, watching movies or reading a good book. My favorite animals are cows, giraffes, and dogs, and my favorite place is the beach or anywhere near water. Something people may not guess about me is I am a second degree black belt in Taekwondo and have been teaching martial arts for the past 9 years! I have always wanted to teach Kindergarten, and I am so excited to start my journey as an educator with each and every one of you.
