This year we have so many things to learn and discover. Third grade was one of my favorite grades and I’m so glad I get to be part of your child's third grade experience. Together, we will read new books, solve fun math problems, explore science, and explore the world we live in.

Hello! My name is Mr. McDermott. This is my second year at Brookside and my 14th year teaching. I am so excited to get to know your children and help them learn and grow!
I went to Marist College and received a degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I recently completed a masters program in K-5 Mathematics.
I love to reading, jiu jitsu and hiking/camping adventures. I have a 5 year old son who is my best buddy!
