About Me

Hi! My name is Miss. Kelly Richter and I am so excited to be at Washington School! 

I received my bachelor’s in elementary education and special education from Saint Joseph’s University in 2020. I have my master's degree from Capella University in teaching and learning. This will be my sixth year teaching. I student taught 2nd grade in Pennsylvania before moving back to New Jersey. Over the last five years, I have taught 1st, 3rd, and 5th grade, as well as intervention for kindergarten through 4th grade students. I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade this year! 

Teaching is my passion and I couldn't have picked a more rewarding career. I’m looking forward to getting to know my students and seeing them learn, succeed, and accomplish amazing things during the school year!
