We will be using the Reading and Writing Workshop Units of Study
We will be using the Reading and Writing Workshop Units of Study
- Reading instruction requires students to read just right books
- We will be spending at least 30 minutes per day reading during class
- Students are also expected to read 30 minutes each night
- Writing units are fictional narrative, literary essay and bringing history to life.
- There will not be formal reading logs, we will have a “Status of the Class” update instead.
*Students are assessed through weekly with reading responses and other assessments.
