I grew up in Montvale, New Jersey and graduated from Pascack Hills High School.  I earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. I live in Park Ridge, NJ with my husband Chris and our 8 year old son Leo. He is starting third grade in the fall! I have eighteen years of teaching experience and I am so excited to start my fourteenth year at Washington School! 

In my  free time I love to cook, exercise, spend time with my husband, son, and sisters, go to the beach, read, and root on the New York Giants and New York Yankees! This summer I enjoyed time at my beach house in Ocean Grove, NJ and spent lots of time with Leo at the pool and playground! 

    My goal as a teacher is to give students the resources and attention they need to grow into confident, effective adults and to support them in acquiring knowledge independently while organizing their own learning and fostering a fun and safe environment. I will present material in a variety of ways to meet the needs of all individual learning styles and to create a positive student centered environment. I look forward to a fun and productive school year and making 4th grade a wonderful year for your child!
