Preparedness:

** Students must come prepared with sneakers and appropriate clothing. 3 points will be taken off for not having sneakers. Students may earn points back, but must speak with the teacher directly. 

Grading: 

• Participation 80%

• Classwork - 20%

Sport education model will be used for team sports: 

• Essentially in SEM, students are given a task on their team (coach, official/ referee, player, student council representative, trainer, reporter). 

• Students can switch up which task they choose during the unit to demonstrate an understanding of game play. Everyone must be a player at least 1 time during the unit. 

• This model allows all students, regardless of interest or skill level, to get involved in the activities and still demonstrate an understanding of the activity.
