AP Calculus BC

Follows the curriculum outlined by CollegeBoard.

Students who do well on the AP test may place out of calculus 1 and/or Calculus 2 (please see "AP Credit" on individual colleges websites).

Students are expected to have their Chromebook, calculator and textbook each day.

Calculator Policy:

All students are required to have their own graphing calculator (TI-83 or higher).
Not having your calculator in class may lower your class participation grade.
you must have your calculator for tests and quizzes. Students who do not have their calculator may either take the quiz without a calculator or borrow a calculator for a 5% penalty.
If there are any issues, please let Mr. Thomas know. If you need help acquiring a calculator for the year, please contact Dr. Goffe.

Note - grades can be found on Genesis. 50% Tests, 30% Quizzes, 15% Alternate Assessments, 5% HW
