JFG Stock the Lounge- January 23rd

The JFG lounge is all stocked up for our amazing teachers and staff!!! Thank you everyone for your generous donations!!!!! Our teachers and staff are recharged and ready to tackle the rest of the school year!

JFG Winter Fest- December 15th

Warm waffles, hot chocolate, yummy tacos and friends!!! What can be better on a chilly day??? It's always so special seeing our JFG community come together!!

Hot Chocolate Bar for JFG Teachers and Staff- December 13th

Oh the weather outside is chilly…teachers come warm up at the hot chocolate bar!! Today our amazing teachers and staff will get to enjoy hot chocolate and yummy toppings to go with it! Thank you teachers for all that you do, we hope you enjoy this sweet treat!!

JFG Holiday Shop- November 30th- December 1st

JFG students had a great time shopping for their loved ones and maybe even picking a little something for themselves!! Thank you to all of our volunteers!!

Thankful Turkeys- November 22nd

This Thanksgiving, we’re reflecting on how thankful we are for our amazing school and teachers. Today the PSO delivered Thankful Turkeys (made up of feathers with messages from all of you) to the JFG teachers and staff! Here are a few pictures of them showing their gratitude toward our JFG families! Happy Thanksgiving!

JFG Teachers and Staff Caramel Apple Bar- November 16th

Our teachers are awesome to the core!! The PSO set up a Caramel Apple Bar for our amazing teachers to enjoy throughout the day, with tons of apples and yummy toppings to choose from!

JFG Thanksgiving Turkey Drive- November 16th

Thank you to everyone who donated to our annual Food and Turkey Drive! As always, the Helping Hands Food Pantry was very appreciative of our contributions.

Trick or Treating Surprise for JFG Staff &Teachers- October 31st

On Halloween, we surprised the JFG staff and teachers with yummy apple cider donuts and refreshing drinks. It was so much fun visiting each classroom and see how hard the teachers worked to make Halloween such a fun day for the students! JFG teachers and staff are the BEST!!

JFG Fall Fest- October 13th

A beautiful crisp fall day brought all of the JFG families together to enjoy all of the wonderful stations that the class parents created. Everyone had an amazing time and we loved seeing all of the kids happy faces!!

JFG Ice Cream Social- September 8th

After a super hot day, what is better than enjoying a cool treat!! At dismissal, all students, teachers, and staff were able to enjoy yummy ice cream and ice pops with some fun toppings. It was so nice seeing the JFG community spending time together!!

Kindergarten BooHoo Breakfast- September 7th

Lots of new faces at JFG! Welcome to all the kindergarten families!!

Our kindergarten families, were able to mingle while drying tears and enjoying a treat after dropping off their cute little munchkins at school today!

Chalk the Walk for JFG Teachers and Staff- September 5th

JFG families decorated the paths and sidewalks of the school to welcome all the teachers and staff back to a new school year!! Families were also able to enjoy some refreshing ice from the Kona Ice Truck on a super hot day!!!

Welcome Back JFG Luncheon- September 5th

JFG PSO hosted a beautiful luncheon to welcome our JFG teachers and staff back to school! Huge thank you to Le Carre Cafe and Patisserie in Hillsdale for providing delicious sandwiches and sweets for our teachers (if you haven’t been, make sure to pop on over and give them a visit, the food is incredible). Our teachers were gifted a new cup for the school year, and got to have some fun customizing them with stickers from our sticker wall!

Kindergarten Scavenger Hunt- August 29th

Welcome to our new kindergarten students!! So excited to have you part of the JFG family!! We had so much fun welcoming our new friends during the Kindergarten Scavenger Hunt! As a welcome gift, each student received their very first JFG tshirt and chalk to use for our Chalk the Walk! Here's to a great school year!!

2022-2023 School Year

JFG at the Rockland Boulders- July 18th

JFG families came together to cheer on the Rockland Boulders baseball team!!! Each family received a free Rockland Boulders baseball cap and enjoyed watching a fun game together!!

JFG End of Year Bash- June 2nd

Rain and wind couldn't stop our JFG families from having a great time at our End of Year Bash!! Everyone enjoyed yummy treats from the food trucks, amazing music from our DJ, and splashing and playing in the rain!!

Scholastic Book Fair- June 1st & 2nd

Our students had the best time shoppin during our BOGO Scholastic Book Fair!!! How exciting is it when you buy one book and get second for FREE!!! Thank you Natalie Nese and April Bager for organizing another amazing book fair for our school!

Mother's Day Plant Sale- May 13th

It was a pleasure to watch all of your sweet, kind, and thoughtful children shop for their special mom, grandma, aunt, sister (and many more)! The thought they put into picking out the perfect flowers that everyone would like was just precious! Thank you so much to Lisa Rupert and Jill McManus for organizing such a cute event for our children!

Teacher Appreciation Week- Week of May 7th

We can all agree that our JFG teachers and staff are just PLANE awesome!! We had so many fun things planned for our teachers! Thank you so much to our chairs, Jill McManus, Nicole Huneau and Jenn Osenbruck for planning an amazing week for our teachers and staff!!

JFG Neon Night Dance- April 13

JFG Families tore up the dance floor during our Neon Dance Party!! A dancing robot, neon EVERYWHERE and endless chicken nuggets made it a night to remember for sure!! Thank you so much Michelle Capasso for organzing this amazing event!

Jordan Toma- I'm Just a Kid With an IEP Visits JFG- March 1st

Your JFG PSO partnered up with Mrs. Scaduto and the Westwood Regional School District to bring Jordan Toma to our school. He left a huge impression on the teachers, staff, parents and most importantly the students!!

Work hard, work through your challenges, and in the end be proud you persevered through it!

JFG 90s Throwback Tricky Tray- February 23rd

This year's 90s Throwback Tricky Tray was amazing!!!! The outfits were AWESOME, the prizes were INCREDIBLE, the music was OUTSTANDING!!! JFG families know how to party!!!! Thank you to everyone for your support!!! Congrats to all the LUCKY winners!!

Stock the JFG Lounge- December 19th

Thank you so much to everyone that donated to the JFG lounge!!! We are overwhelmed by the generosity of the JFG families!! Can’t wait for the teachers and staff to walk into their stocked lounge tomorrow!! We all know how much they deserve it!!!

JFG Winter Fest- December 9th

Thank you so much to the Washington Township Police Department for making our Winter Fest extra special!!! The kids loved hearing the sirens as their favorite characters came to visit!

JFG Fall Fest- November 4th

Our amazing class parents did an outstanding job creating fun centers for our students to enjoy!!! Nothing is better than getting to see our JFG family spending time together!

Washington Township Fall Fest- October 15th

Such a fun day!!! We loved seeing all of our JFG families on Town Day!!!

Anti- Bullying BMX Assembly- October 7th

Excitement filled the JFG blacktop when the Dialed Action Sports Team put on an amazing BMX show to promote kindness and anti-bullying!!

Welcome Back Luncheon for JFG Teachers and Staff- Sept. 1st

On the first day back, the PSO treated the teachers and staff to a huge spread of delicious food from Lepore's, refreshments and sweet treats!

Also, all teachers received a $5 gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers and all other staff members received a $5 Dunkin Donuts gift card as a token of our appreciation for all that they do.

Kindergarten Scavenger Hunt- August 31st

Today was so fun seeing our new JFG kindergartners and their families!! Welcome to JFG! The best school EVER!!

We welcomed all of our new students with a new JFG tshirt and bubbles!

2021-2022 School Year

JFG Read-A-Thon

We celebrated the end of our Read-a-Thon at George School by inviting in some very special guest readers. Our children had a wonderful morning with some of the our council members, Board of Education, firemen, Chief Skinner, Chief Pontillo, Mayor Calamari and Superintendent Jill Mortimer. Thank you for such a wonder day! The PSO purchased books for each class that was read by the special guest reader. We thanked our guest readers with a token of our appreciation. The Superintendent raffled off 6 $50 Barnes & Noble gift cards to 6 lucky classes!

Mother's Day Plant Sale- May 6

JFG students spent some time shopping for beautiful plants to give to a special woman in their life. They were able to write cute little notes to their moms, aunts, grandmas, etc. Happy Mother's Day to all of our JFG Moms!

JFG Author Visit with Beth Ferry- April 27

JFG welcomed author Beth Ferry with open arms! Our children were encouraged to be creative, use their imaginations, and work hard toward achieving their dreams.

JFG Masquerade Tricky Tray - April 26

JFG Masquerade Tricky Tray was a HUGE success!!!! Such an incredible night filled with delicious food and drinks, awesome music and of course the lucky winners! Always an amazing night out when JFG families come together to support our school!

MARCH MADNESS BASKETBALL GAME- APRIL 1

JFG dads and Washington dads came together to play an exciting game to help raise money for the Gugger Family!! The event was a fun night out and it was wonderful to see all the families come together to support an an amazing family!! Thank John Sayers for coaching our dads!! Congrats JFG Dads on an awesome and exciting win!!!

JFG Families came together to enjoy yummy hot chocolate and treats while enjoying special guests appearances by our very own JFG cardinal, Frosty, Grinch, Rudolph and SANTA!!!! Thank you to our JFG Dads!!

Beautiful day in Township!! Thank you to everyone that stopped by at our JFG PSO table!! So happy everyone was able to purchase our spirit wear and enter our raffles!!
