Welcome, Westwood and Washington Township students, families, and community members!
I am excited to begin my twelfth year as Principal of Westwood Regional High School. It continues to be an incredible privilege to serve this outstanding school community not only as an educator, but also as a proud community member. On behalf of our entire faculty and staff, I welcome you to what we anticipate will be an exciting, successful, and rewarding school year.
Before joining the Westwood Regional School District in September 2005, I taught Social Studies for seven years in the Cliffside Park School District. I then began my career in Westwood Regional as a Social Studies teacher at the high school for two years before serving as Assistant Principal at the high school for four years. Seeking to broaden my administrative experience, I became Assistant Principal at Westwood Regional Middle School for two years, followed by two years as the Middle School Principal. In the 2015–2016 school year, I was honored to return to Westwood Regional High School as Principal, where I have proudly served ever since.
At Westwood Regional High School, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and challenging learning environment where every student is encouraged to grow academically, socially, and personally. We believe that strong partnerships among students, families, staff, and the community are essential to helping every Cardinal reach their full potential.
I look forward to another year filled with meaningful learning experiences, school pride, and opportunities for our students to excel. Together, we will continue to build on our tradition of excellence while preparing our students for success beyond high school.
I wish everyone a wonderful and successful school year! Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time if I can be of assistance.

Each student is unique in their own way and need a safe, caring, and challenging atmosphere to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is our job as educators to educate the "whole child" and to help students reach their full potential and become productive members of society. It is important for students to develop self-esteem, sensitivity, creativity, and respect for others as well as improve upon their critical thinking, communication, problem solving, and research skills while learning how to work collaboratively with others.
Through cooperative interaction of the administration, faculty, students, parents, and community, each student can achieve his/her academic goals, develop a love for learning, respect for self and others, and an enthusiasm for life that will help to ensure his/her success and happiness.
