Q: At what age should my child be able to write their name?
A: Developmentally speaking, children should be able to copy their name from a model at 5 years of age. As with all children, some are able to do this at a younger age and some will take a little longer.
Q: My child holds the pencil incorrectly, what should I do?

Q: How do I encourage my child to dress themselves?
A: Start with having your child undress himself! Show your child how to remove their shirt (tuck arms in) and pull over head. Lay your child's clothes out first. Try clothing /pants with elastics. Put hooded sweatshirts on first. Try having your child sit on the ground and dress instead of standing up. Make it fun!!
