The Westwood Robotics Club an interest-based but also competitive club that participates in various STEM- and robotics-related events, such as the STEAM Tank Challenge hosted by the New Jersey School Boards Association and the US Army, and VEX Robotics Competitions (VRCs). Students who are a part of the club and participate in these events get multidisciplinary practice and experience applying different aspects of robotics (physical prototyping, engineering, coding, etc.) while also being able to build leadership and collaborative teamwork skills.
